Day 1 Arrival Airport Edinburgh Journey to Hotel in the area of Scottish Borders, ca. 80km. Depending on arrival time, visit the Melrose Abbey. Day 2 Journey to the area of York, ca. 256km Drive through the Yorkshire Moors, with a planned stop at the charming coastal village of Robin Hood's Bay. Day 5 Spend the day exploring the famous University City Oxford Blenheim Palace is worth a visit, which is the birthplace of Churchill (optional). Or visit to Stratford upon Avon, Birthplace of William Shakespear is worth a visit. Tip: for shopping lovers, a stop at the Bicester Outlet Centre is recommended.

Day 6 Onwards journey to the area of Chester/ North Wales, ca. 130km Explore the historical City Chester, which was built by the Romans. Alternatively, a visit to Liverpool, the City of the Beatles is well worth a trip. 2x Overnights in the area Chester/North Wales

Day 7 Take a trip to North Wales. Drive to Snowdonia Nationalpark, the third biggest in the UK. Don't forget to plan a short break in the market town Conwy with its magnificent castle.

Visiting the spectacular Lake District, which is famous for its lakes and inspired many artists and writers. Day 9 Onwards journey to the area of Glasgow, ca. 200km Take a short break in Gretna Green, one of Scotland's earliest visitor centers, renowned for its historic Blacksmith's Shop and famous wedding traditions. Day 10 Onward journey to the area of Fort William/ Oban, ca. 175km Take a short break at the picturesque Loch Lomond, followed by a stop at the Glencoe Visitor Centre to explore the region's dramatic landscapes and rich history. 2x Overnight in the area of Fort William/ Oban

Day 11 Enjoy a day trip to the Isle of Skye. From fort William, take the famous road to the Isle, which offers spectacular views. From Malliag take a ferry to the Isle of Skye. On the way back to Fort William, we recommend driving over the bridge connecting Isle of Skye and Kyle of Lochalsh. A visit of the most photographed castle ruin Eilean Donan Castle is a must.

Day 13 Onwards journey to the area of Edinburgh, ca. 200km Travel along the scenic route through Cairngorms National Park. Day 14 Discover Edinburgh, often called the "Athens of the North." Your visit includes a tour of the iconic Edinburgh Castle. Stroll along the historic Royal Mile and through the elegant New Town.
